The image below is an electronic version of the Generalized Bedrock Geologic Map of Connecticut, originally produced by the Connecticut Geological and Natural History Survey in 1990 and reprinted in 1996. The map is divided into sections based upon the CGNHS Bedrock Geologic Quadrangle Maps. Each section of the map links to the corresponding portion of the Bedrock Geological Map of Connecticut, compiled by John Rodgers of Yale University in 1985. All digitized versions of these maps were produced by the Talcott Mountain Science Center for Student Involvement in cooperation with the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection.
NOTE: The quadrangle sections contained within have been reproduced from the Bedrock Geological Map of Connecticut, which is at a 1:125,000 scale, for educational purposes only. The actual Bedrock Geologic Quadrangle Maps which depict the same areas at 1:24,000 scale, can be obtained from the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection Store.
